Apples and Pears

February 25th 2013

Mollie Makes magazine has lots of wonderful crafty ideas; I’m always delighted by the way it looks, it’s so colourful and has varied crafts and always something reasonably simple that you feel you could tackle, even as a novice. I am delighted that so many home crafts have made a resurgence, even in the technological age! My friend, Anne, taught me how to make these apples and pears, they really look nice piled up in a fruit dish. We still have a few more designs to make and so when I get some more made I will photograph them again – my compote dish does look rather sparse ! But we have to make time for chatting and relaxing, I can really recommend the therapeutic effects of a craft day shared with a friend.
